ANNUAL REPORTS
HONEY
Community of Hope hosted a Conversation of Hope focused on what it takes to support healthy pregnancies during homelessness. This conversation highlights findings from a recent independent evaluation of the HONEY program (Housing Our Newborns, Empowering You), which found improved birth outcomes for families experiencing homelessness in Washington, DC, including lower rates of preterm birth and low birthweight. Featuring Community of Hope leadership, program staff, a DC Department of Human Services partner, and a HONEY participant, the discussion brings together data, lived experience, and systems perspective to explore what makes this model effective.
