
Christina trained as a Nurse-Midwife at Yale University. She completed her undergraduate studies at Georgetown University focusing on Gender and International Relations. She holds a Master's degree in Conflict Resolution from the University of Bradford in the UK, and is a doctoral candidate in Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. Christina loves working with pregnant people and their families as a midwife. She has worked as a midwife all over the world including Texas, Connecticut, Guatemala, South Sudan, and of course Washington DC. She catches babies at Washington Hospital Center. Christina started working at Community of Hope in 2018. Her research interests include intimate partner violence, reproductive health disparities, refugee/ immigrant health, and nursing and midwifery interventions for underserved/ vulnerable populations. Outside of work, Christina loves hanging out with family, practicing yoga, reading, and traveling to new places.
