Five years ago we re-opened the doors at our Marie Reed Health Center after a long renovation and expansion. Putting the profound impact on the lives of families is hard, but the numbers speak for themselves. In 5 years, the center has hosted over 72,000 visits for almost 10,000 patients.
Language barriers can be a significant obstacle when accessing healthcare, but at the Marie Reed Health Center, we’re proud to have served 23% of our patients in languages other than English. For many refugees, accessing healthcare can be a daunting and overwhelming experience. That’s why we’re proud to have served 460 patients through our refugee health program, providing vital care and connection during a difficult transition.
Additionally, over 1,300 children have received dental care at our center, ensuring that they have a bright, healthy smile for years to come.
