RESIDENT MONITOR

Employer: Community of Hope is a nonprofit providing healthcare, housing, and supportive services to the low-income and homeless populations in the District of Columbia.

Job Description: Resident Monitors are an integral part of the housing program team. This position will provide important services to homeless families in our transitional shelter, ensuring the safety of the building, enforcing resident rules, and communicating with case managers to ensure that they are receiving the case management services they need. We are seeking individuals who want to give back to their community and/or those interested in beginning careers in social services. Help to create a safe environment for homeless families, be the eyes and ears for case managers through written and verbal communication, and participate in a culture of hope and transformation!

Education: High school diploma/GED required.

Additional Qualifications: Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle emotional situations with compassion and maturity.
